Parking
The practice does not accept responsibility for any damage to vehicles whilst
parked at the surgery. Owners park entirely at their own risk.
Disabled Access
Patient services are provided at ground level and a lift is available to access
the first floor. A disabled patients' WC is provided. If access proves difficult
to any of our disabled patients we would be happy to give any assistance
required.
Complaints
If at any time you consider that we have failed to meet your expectations, the
practice offers an informal in-house procedure in which we attempt to resolve
problems swiftly and take action as appropriate. If you have any problems then
please ask to speak to the practice manager in the first instance.
We regard all information concerning patients to be strictly confidential and we will ensure that this requirement is maintained at the highest level by all staff.
Freedom of Information - Publication Scheme
The Freedom of Information Act 2000 obliges the practice to produce a
Publication Scheme. A Publication Scheme is a guide to the 'classes' of
information the practice intends to routinely make available. This scheme is
available from reception.
Zero Tolerance
We strongly support the NHS policy on zero tolerance. Anyone attending the
surgery who abuses the GPs, staff or other patients be it verbally, physically
or in any threatening manner whatsoever, will risk removal from the practice
list. In extreme cases we may summon the police to remove offenders from the
practice premises.
